CORE (CRCT)
v1.0-CRYPTO LIVE · PRODUCTION SANDBOX

A cryptocurrency only a microcontroller can mine.

Core (CRCT) is a proof-of-work network tuned so a $5 ESP32 can mine it comfortably — and an industrial ASIC farm can't. No warehouses, no noise, no power bill. Just a chip on your desk, quietly earning.

01 — Architecture

One cloud backend, split into two engines.

The mining pool's math and its public API are kept deliberately separate, so raw hashing speed never waits on web traffic.

C++ / BOOST.ASIOpool_server.cppRuns the SHA-256 proof-of-work checks across 4 dedicated cores. This is where shares get validated.
SHARED FILEwallets.txtThe ledger. Writes are guarded with std::mutex and a db_lock, so two shares can never double-spend a balance.
↓ thread-locked sync ↓
PYTHONpool_server.pyA lightweight HTTP API in front of the ledger, served over Nginx on port 80.
↓ public internet ↓
DESKTOPwallet_app.pyA CustomTkinter GUI for checking balances and moving CRCT — no browser required.
EDGE NODEESP32 + SSD1315 OLEDSubmits shares over port 12345 and shows live status on a 0.96" display.
02 — Payouts

Every share pays something.

Instead of rejecting a fast submission outright, Core scales the reward to how long the hardware ground on it — so a hobbyist chip earns steadily, with the occasional jackpot.

< 2.0s solveRapid hashing share0.50 CRCT
> 2.0s solveFull computational proof — the jackpot1.00 CRCT
03 — Anti-cheat

Built so an ASIC can't win.

Network difficulty sits fixed at three leading zeroes — an easy target for an ESP32, but too shallow to reward brute industrial force.

What a hobbyist sees

An ESP32 lands solves in the 1–3 second range, right in the sweet spot that earns fast-share and jackpot payouts consistently.

What a server farm sees

The same difficulty falls in milliseconds for industrial hardware, which pushes every one of its solves into the smallest micro-share tier — mining Core at scale simply isn't worth the power draw.

04 — Roadmap

Where the network goes from here.

01

Tactical edge display IN PROGRESS

Wiring the SSD1315 OLED natively into the node firmware, so the ESP32 becomes a physical desktop widget showing connection status, block height, and live balance.

02

Peer-to-peer node syncing

Extending the C++ engine so a fleet of remote miners can sync to the same pool directly, with team-level tracking across nodes.

03

Stealth address layer

Dual-key stealth addressing over secp256k1, so the desktop wallet can obscure recipients and give transactions real privacy.
